I have oily skin and this water cream feels a bit heavy upon initial application. When it dries down, it feels more comfortable on the skin. On the positive side, this doesn’t make me look like a greasy mess during the day. Love this except for the initial application feeling!

This moisturizer cleared up my face within a matter of days which was very nice. The only downside for me is that I didn’t find it very moisturizing. I have combination skin and this wasn’t hydrating enough for me during these cooler, drier months but I could see it working very well for me during the summer. If you have oily skin I think you would really enjoy this! I like it enough to keep using it, I’ll just pair it with some hydrating toners or essences before applying it.

I’m a guy with extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin. This moisturizer is super light and fragrance free (to my knowledge). It spreads so well and dries nicely. Gives my skin a nice boost of hydration that is necessary after wearing a mask all day. I use in the AM + PM. It also helps my sunscreen spread easily over my skin! Would recommend to anyone honestly.

Somehow I’ve tried several creams, but this one is the winner. It is made in Korea and claims to be Vegan and not tested on animals. I am always skeptical of that, but this is what they say on the packaging. Would recommend this for oily/combination skin, but probably would be good for any skin type.

It’s a very aqueous cream that is almost gel like on the skin. It’s full of water properties that will hydrate your skin and keep it clean and balanced all day. As it moisturizes your skin, it will not leave it feeling oily or greasy. Might be a bit drying for those with drier skin, but provides you with just the right amount of hydration for those with oilier skin. Works well on my oily days for my mature combination skin.
Will help to make the skin more supple and elastic while also providing you with a healthy glow. Works well with other skincare products, as well as with makeup. I like to use a product for a bit before reviewing. Admittedly, I was not sold on this cream after the first use. The water-base provides more of a gel-like feel than I was ready for and I felt like it was a bit sticky after applied. That said, I was super pleased by the level of hydration and appearance of my skin after it absorbed. So much so that I am continuing to use on a daily basis!

Anyway, I have to be a bit picky with my facial creams because I have sensitive skin, but it’s also oily and acne prone. So, creams like this does take the edge off to keep away pimples and such.
As promised it has a light, watery texture, and a bit translucent. It is thick enough to spread evenly as well as sinks in like a serum. It does really add a plumping to my features after using with a tad bit of glow, though not shiny. The salicylic acid in it isn’t a super high potent, so it doesn’t dry out my face like those horrible acne lotions. Its actually quite subtle and the cooling sensation makes it feel refreshing.
This water cream is very gentle and feels really good on the face. Plus it’s qualities such as it being vegan, plus soothing ingredients make it worth it to use. I haven’t had any new breakouts nor have I felt irritated at all when using. So, I would consider this a win for my oily/sensitive skin.

I’m not a big fan of vegan products. The texture is very light, and excellent gel cream for a day. It’s to absorb into my skin. I think it’s performing well with my skin. I have oily skin I was happy to use to maintain my shiny face one of the things I admire the most came with a small spoon to be used.

[Vine Customer Review of Free Product] I am a big fan of this vegan cruelty free plant based moisturizer. I have combination skin and it doesn’t make me greasy but I don’t feel like my skin it too dry either. I have some adult acne that I find responds well to salicylic acid and this has been working to keep my skin looking clear and glowy. I’m not a big fan of moisturizer since I get greasy andlive somewhere hot but this has been working for me and if my skin doesn;t get used to it and start rebelling again I will repurchase.
Texture is not heavy it is a gel cream spreads very well so I would suggest only using a small amount and building up if you have too. I find it takes too long to absorb if I am too heavy handed which is fine at night but if you are gettingready in the AM it might slow you down. I was happy to see it comes with a little spatula that you can keep in the jar over the plastic cover that sets into the jar. I am a fan and will look into this brands other products.

When I received this cream I was experiencing irritation to the point that certain products felt as if they were burning. I’ve been wearing this cream day & night and it has completely calmed my face down which I believe is because of the Squalene + Grapeseed Oil. The consistency is more gel like but it glides and hydrates like a cream as to be expected with “water” textures. The ingredient mix of niacinamide + salicylic acid helps with breakouts but it isn’t such a high percentage that it’s irritating which I love. Small detail which is nice is that it comes with a spatula which is nice to prevent germs.

Review of a gifted product – this is so lovely! I have sensitive skin, so I am always wary of the products I use on my face, but this was lovely. It does have a slight scent which is more on the medicinal side, but nothing that you would notice after applying to your face. The texture is a combination of a milky gel like texture which is very soothing to the skin. I love that it comes with a little spatula to get some of the product into your hand. I will say that after using this with the glow & dew you serum, it did leave my skin a bit tacky until it completely absorbed into my skin. But I absolutely love the moisture I received from the product. Once applied and absorbed, it left my skin feeling light and airy. A little truly goes a long way!

‘Review of Gifted product-‘ I am new to Korean skincare routines; however I am a fan of scientifically proved ingredients so it It took me awhile to really understand if this product was a moisturizer or an overnight mask. Due to the Salicylic Acid I choose to use this product only at night before bed to avoid any issues with the sun irritating my already hyperpigmentation. However, I am happy to use at night because of promise to exfoliate to help daytime skin routine to penetrate better.

I personally have a combination skin type and I have been using the Clear As Day Water Cream for over a week now. This is perfect for all skin types, and I love the ease of putting it on. It is lightweight on my skin, and I have noticed it has helped hydrate my skin greatly! The transparency of ingredients is wonderful and I love how SoloVegan uses the same color for the lid of the product and the writing on the actual product, however the blue on this one is a little harder to read for me. Still such a cute touch to their packaging! Speaking of packaging, this comes with a mini spatula which is the perfect way to get out the amount you need without overdoing it. I feel like all of their products go a long way by using a small amount which is wonderful! I very rarely have acne or breakouts, but I did have a very small pimple area due to working out and sweating that I noticed was gone within about 36 hours of first using this – WOW!
I will continue using this product because I love the gel and cream mixture and the results I have seen so far. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

*gifted by solo vegan* I have sensitive acne prone skin. I am always layering my skin with acne products and then moisturizer to cover the dryness. Then at the end of the day, my face is an oil pit :/ BUT NOT WITH THIS. This is the first moisturizer that actually gives me DEEP moisture and my face isn’t oily at the end of the day. Usually new products make my face break out especially moisturizers but NOT THIS ONE!! This is exactly what I have been looking for. I highly recommend for all skin types. A great texture too for laying under makeup!!

Overall, I am really enjoying this moisturizer so far! It comes with a little spatula so that if you have longer nails, you don’t have to get the moisturizer stuck under them (ya’ll know how that goes). The moisturizer is rich, and leaves my face feeling moisturized and hydrated. There is a little linger of a plastic-like smell however, and while it’s not strong enough for me to be bothered, I have a strong sense of smell and can pick up on it.,
