I was able to try the mwah-velour guava lip duo and my oh my! does this product have my undivided attention! It’s not heavily fragrance, which is amazing because I’m not a fan of heavy scented fragrance products on my face! The ingredients on these products are amazing both have different formulas! I have one in my office and want it in my bag so that I can always remind myself to keep my lips hydrated! These lip butter and balm work very well under lipstick and it’s not too tacky, which I love! Also, if we talk about the price doing girl math this is absolutely winning! -it has a thin texture and is very lightweight, a total treatment for dry and chapped lips, giving total hydration. It has subtle scent of guava but no taste at all. (Lol) and the best thing is I can put a normal lipstick on top without aggravating the treatment.

-I love this!! buttery and glides onto your lips smoothly, and the hint of pink is just perfect making it more wearable for every day without any lipstick on. So hydrating as well. It leaves my lips a glossy finish but not too greasy (if that make sense)

I am obsessed with this lip duo. They both feel super soft on the lips. I first used the Guava Lip butter as a topper on my lipstick instead of lipgloss and it was so shiny! It added an extra layer of color (slight pink on my nude lip). It wasn’t sticky at all which is a nice change from my normal lipgloss topper. I used the Guava Lip Treatment for my overnight lip mask and woke up with my lips feeling very hydrated. It has hyaluronic acid so it makes sense why they were hydrated. I love both of these and they will continue to be a staple in my lip products! Oh and it’s cruelty free 🙂

Guava Lip Treatment – This Treatment is 5 STARS all the way. This has a thick texture almost waxy without the wax and in a good way. It’s a spa like treatment for you lips at home. I need a lifetime supply of this treatment as it actually WORKS. it has a mild guava tropical scent to it but in a good way and will not irritate people who are sensitive to scent. I had very chapped lips and I must say this cured 3/4 of it in the same day I used it. 100% cured supple , healthy glowing lips by next day. This works like magic. I will forever be using this combo! Them together is a powerful duo and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Guava lip treatment is very hydrating and smells like bubble gum. As a Black woman with very full lips I can appreciate a product that doesn’t leave a white cast and actually provides adequate moisture!
The Guava lip butter is a thicker version of the treatment. This is perfect if you need a little extra hydration. Especially with the winter coming up.
Overall this duo is a 10/10 in my book! Plus I take comfort in the fact that it’s plant based and made with clean ingredients.
